Samuel and Polly Brumbaugh House. Model T Ford picture taken in front of the house. They had a saw mill, cider mill, and had apple butter factory. Effie's job was to tie the cracks of apple butter with brown paper and string. She did this after she was married. She and Howard lived in a small house behind the house on the south of the intersection. Grace was born in that little house. It is gone now. Mom things the large house on the south was lived in by Sam and Polly before they built the house on the North side. Mother doesn't know who lived in the house afterwards. Effie worked for someone in Hartville before she got married. She tied crocks of apple butter.
