Keith Allen Lavey
Keith Allen Lavey, 64, died at 8:04 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
He was born June 9, 1944, to the late Donald and Grace LaVey in Dayton.
Keith is survived by three sons and daughter-in-la, Jason and Angel LaVey of Piqua, Beau LaVey of Piqua and Kevin LaVey of Norfolk Neb.; one sister, Jessica LaVey of Norfolk, Neb; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Keith proudly served his county in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. He was employed at EDM in Piqua as a CNC machinist for several years.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Full military honors will be provided by The Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Burial will follow.
Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
